So we had lunch here and the food was cooked perfectly. I had lobster shrimp and steak. We had a party of 9 , service was great . Really no complaints at all , I wish they had music or something playing in the background. The place was clean and food was perfect. This was a good place to spend time with the family.
Came here, with reservations, for the hibachi experience. Our server, not the chef, was seriously the best part of the night! He was funny, quick, very interactive, and made sure we were happy from start to finish. Our chef was also very enjoyable but obviously he was more focused on cooking. :) Gyoza - I could've eaten another plate of them! Perfectly steamed, crispy bottoms, good sauce, flavorful filling. Hibachi - Our group ordered chicken, scallops, shrimp, steak, fried noodles and fried rice. The regular steak was a bit tough but our friend's filet was good. Something to consider. For me, the veggies were the star. haha I'm was a good balance for the carnivores at the table last night. Fun place (Yes, it was pretty smoky in there.)
Hands down the best sushi in Santa Rosa! All of the rolls are freshly handmade to order, and for $16 all-you-can-eat, that's the price of a single roll in most quality restaurants, ridiculously good for the price! Not in the mood for sushi? No worries, their Hibachi style grills are always an entertaining treat for the family or group of friends. Huge flames, flying food and fun slight of hand tricks are some of the things you can expect from your personal chef. During my last visit for my bday, my family and I were told a 20-30 min wait for a table (not terribly long) and were seated approximately over an hour later, no apology for the long wait was ever given which was very disappointing. Unfortunately it's Not the first time that it has happened :( Food is delicious, sadly the wait service is below average, 4
Ok I see a lot of bad reviews here for this restaurant but we had my daughters birthday lunch there and while very few things are 5 stars for me this was a great experience. Service was great - food was cooked very well (very rare for a place like this), sushi rolls were great - had veggie options - water was filled up all the time - and our cook put on a great show I have some advice for people at these type of places - applaud the cook - take part - cut loose a bit Agree with most that some music in the background would be nice - at least some Japanese atmosphere stuff on low I would return and have no problem recommending it based on the experience I had today. However I can see what others have said as well
